The SMPX-32LCC-N-TR is a surface mount PLCC socket designed for use with molded plastic chip carriers that conform to JEDEC specifications MO-047 and MO-052. This socket features a low profile with a mated height of less than 0.2 inches and is suitable for high-temperature SMT soldering up to 230 ¬8C. It includes visual and mechanical polarization for ease of insertion and has an open frame design that facilitates contact inspection and repair. Constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic with a black finish, the socket's contacts are made of phosphor bronze and are plated with 160¬µ,Äù tin over nickel. The electrical characteristics include a contact current rating of 1 A, a maximum contact resistance of 15 milliohms, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000VAC minimum for one minute. The socket operates within a temperature range of -50¬8C to +105¬8C and offers extraction tool slots for added convenience. It is CSA/NRTL certified and is available in tape and reel packaging.
