MSR Lumber
For truss and component assembly manufacturers, Georgia-Pacific’s Machine Stress Rated Lumber delivers machine-evaluated structural values for matching exacting design specifications. Details Graded according to strict American Lumber Standards (PS 20), builders can count on maximum structural strength and durability for the highest value and material efficiency. To optimize product consistency and testing reliability, every board is machine tested on industry-leading Metriguard 7200 testing equipment that uses a non-destructive physical bending process to deliver its highly accurate stress-rating measurement. Available in 2" X 4" through 2" X 12" dimensions with lengths ranging from 8 to 20 feet, Georgia-Pacific MSR lumber is presently offered with a tested value of 2400f-2.0E, 1850f-1.7E and 1650f-1.5E. Graded for a minimum of knots, check and slope of grain, structural strength and durability are maximized along with value and material efficiency. Like all southern pine products, MSR lumber machines cleanly and holds fasteners tight. Georgia-Pacific sawmills are freight logical to multiple ocean going ports, allowing us to ship our products all over the world to meet our customers’ demands.
