LEAF® GB resins are unique formulations with no added urea-formaldehyde (NAUF). These adhesives may be melamine-formaldehyd e or phenol-formaldehyde based and can be used in tandem with GP® scavenger systems. In addition to helping to meet CARB Phase 2 emission requirements, LEAF GB resins can contribute toward Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED®) credits and can help meet other green building requirements such as GREEN GLOBES® and the National Green Building Standards® of the National Association of Home Builders. LEAF GB resins are designed for wood composite manufacturers and their customers who want to pursue green building credits. Georgia-Pacific works with manufacturers to find products that are compatible and cost-effective with their process to help meet these requirements.
