The KNIPEX Cobra® Hightech Water Pump Pliers, model 87 02 180, feature a length of 180 mm and are designed for efficient adjustment to various workpiece sizes without the need for presetting. The pliers have 18 adjustment positions and can accommodate pipes with a diameter of up to 42 mm (1 1/2 inches) and nuts up to 36 mm. Constructed from chrome vanadium electric steel, these pliers are forged and multi-stage oil-hardened for durability. The gripping surfaces are equipped with specially hardened teeth, providing high wear resistance and a secure grip. The self-locking mechanism prevents slipping on workpieces, reducing the required hand force. The box-joint design enhances stability, and a guard is included to protect the operator's fingers from pinching. The handles are designed with multi-component grips for comfort during use.
