Knight Optical (UK) Ltd Planoconvex Cylindrical Lens BK7 25mmdia x 40mm F.L. Uncoated LCC4025

Description
As the name suggests cylindrical lenses have surfaces which are sections of a cylinder rather than the normal sphere normally used. Cylindrical lenses (cylinder lenses) are often used to change the profile of laser beams, for example to correct for astigmatism and ellipticity in diode lasers or to generate lines form single mode lasers, as in laser line generators. This range is our visible grade type manufactured from BK7 or equivalent and is available in various forms. Planoconvex cylindrical lenses and planoconcave cylindrical lenses are available in either diameter or rectangular shaped apertures. We also offer a range of mounting options for seamless integration into your optical system. Knight Optical's stock lenses are available uncoated or AR coated for visible-NIR applications. Stock uncoated cylindrical lenses can be custom AR coated to suite your specific application. We can also offer custom cylindrical lenses in a range of optical glasses to meet your requirements or alternatively edge stock lenses or resize rectangles for a quick turnaround, please enquire. Please note we are also able to supply custom Fused silica Cylindrical lenses for UV applications, including AR coated for 248-400nm.
