The FD-M Series uses electromagnetics to determine the flow rate of conductive liquids. This enables detection without obstructions, paddle wheels, or electrodes, preventing common issues associated with conventional flow sensors (i.e. clogging, pressure losses, flow disruption, etc.). Waters or non-corrosive liquids can be monitored at temperatures up to 185° F, making possible high temperature applications such as: Cooling water in forming machines or warming water in molding tubes. Additionally, the FD-M Series features a dual colored, digital display, as well as, the ability to monitor flow, regardless of direction.
