High cleaning efficiency, low flow restrictions, easy maintenance.
Features and Benefits of MegaFlow™, ErGo™, and Pulse Purge™
Parallel barrels on common header provide continuous flow during backwash
Filter media available in synthetic fabrics, wire mesh, slotted wedge wire, diffusion bonded
Internal or external backwash allows backwash by filtered product or external liquid
Quarter-turn cap provides rapid access to filter elements without tools
Positive sealing o-rings maintain absolute seal integrity to prevent bypass
Element centering pin ensures the filter element is axially aligned
Pressure gauge on each header and integral differential pressure gauge
Custom Configurations
Each Multi-Barrel pressure filter t is an application-specific design that can use any or all of these optional features:
ErGo filtration systems eliminate the need for a service step and provides easier filter element removal.
In-line or paired construction, with as many individual barrels as needed to meet flow requirements
Manual backwash, or automatic backwash by time clock or pressure differential switch
Low-pressure configuration available up to 285 psi (19 bar)
High-pressure configuration available up to 1,000 psi (70 bar)
Automatic filtration control package integration into mill-wide PLC or DCS
Various filter media and seal materials
Pulse Purge systems use high intensity backwatering pressure to remove difficult contaminants like starches and fiber.
Pressure Filter Applications
Clarified whitewater for forming section showers
Whitewater for uhle box lubrication and doctor lubrication showers
Pump seal water
Saveall shower water
Gravity strainer showers
