They are heat-treated to a hardness of 62-64 Rockwell C, ensuring strength under operational conditions. The operating temperature range for these liners is from -20¬8F to 400¬8F (-30¬8C to 200¬8C), making them suitable for various machining environments. For optimal performance, it is recommended that the maximum interference fit between the bore and bushing outer diameter does not exceed 0.0005" (0.013mm). The design allows for precise alignment, maintaining a repeatability of ¬±0.0005" (¬±0.003mm) when installed correctly.
Locating repeatability will determine if (1) primary and (1) secondary or (2) primary liners are needed. With (2) primary liners, repeatability of ±0.0005" (±0.003mm) can be maintained if the (2) holes for receiver bushings are held to a centerline distance of ±0.0002" (±0.005mm) tolerance.
