The MCB40P1200LB is a silicon carbide power MOSFET designed for high-voltage switching applications such as solar inverters, motor drives, and UPS systems. It features a 1200 V drain-source breakdown voltage, a maximum continuous drain current of 55 A at 25°C, and a typical on-resistance of 34 mΩ at 25°C. The device is packaged in an SMPD-B case with a DCB isolated backside and has an isolation voltage of 2500 V. It meets UL 94 V-0 flammability standards and is RoHS compliant. The thermal resistance from junction to case is 0.70 K/W. The part supports a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and operates reliably up to 150°C ambient temperature.
