The D-Sub Connector, Receptacle, 9Pos, part number DEMAMT-9S, is designed for high reliability with crimp termination. It accommodates wire gauges ranging from AWG 20 to 28 for standard applications and AWG 22 to 28 for high-density configurations. This connector features 9 contacts of size 20 and is rated for a maximum current of 7.5 A. It can withstand 500 mating cycles and has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level. The operating temperature range is from -55¬8C to +150¬8C. The shell is made of steel with a yellow chromate finish over zinc, while the insulator is thermoplastic (PCT) with a UL 94V-0 rating in black. The contacts are made from copper alloy with a gold over nickel finish, ensuring low contact resistance of 10 milli Ohm max. The connector also meets salt spray test requirements for up to 48 hours.
