Quality components have enabled Ruby to weld stainless foil 25 microns thick to pressure vessels used in safety backup systems for reactors and refinery’s. Another application has Ruby cutting industrial diamond with mirror edge quality for drill rigs and high speed machining, while others have Ruby cutting many metals completely free of burrs. Quite often Ruby is offered as a specialty machine with custom tooling and refinements to the basic software.
