This electrostatic air filter is made of 2 layers of fine mesh electrostatic filter material and 2 layers of heavy net electrostatic guard fabric. The entire filter is enclosed in a heavy duty aluminum frame.  The heavy duty aluminum channel has rounded edges so it won't split like sharp edged channel. All filters are mechanically pressed for firmer grip on the filter media and to eliminate sharp corners.
