Magnetic Coolant Filters
Magnetic coolant filters capture and remove ferrous metal chips and particles from water based coolants. Incorporate this magnetic filter in the coolant circulation system for continuous separation of metal contamination on processing machines such as; Precision grinding machines Honing machine Cylindrical grinding machines Centerless grinding machines Surface grinding machines Rotary grinding machines Washing machine Hardening machines The CFW magnetic coolant filter utilizes a stationary magnet with a continuous rotating outer drum shell similar to our magnetic drum separators for dry products. As used coolant flows into the reservoir and under the drum, ferrous metal chips and particles are captured by the drums' powerful magnetic field. The rotating outer drum brings the captured contaminant out of the coolant and under a squeegee roller that squeezes coolant from the sworf and flows back down the drum into the reservoir. Captured particles rotate to the non-magnetic side of the drum to the rake plate for smooth discharge of sludge. The outlet can be located on the right, left or bottom of the unit.
