The powder coated aluminum alloy housing of the MKA-VA20 provides excellent impact resistance, along with the excellent IP66/67 ingress protection rating provided once the assembly is completed with the base housing, and compatible M20 cable gland. Additionally, the MKA-VA20 effectively prevents unintentional disconnection 2 pegs meant to mate with the single lever latching mechanism equipped on the base mount.
