The fork light barrier type OPU203 from ifm with a fork width of 50 mm in a robust metal housing is characterised by its high switching frequency of 4,000 Hz, light-on/dark on mode selectable and protection rating IP67. The transmitting light is red light, the output is positive switching. The smallest detectable object is of 0.5 Ø in mm. The fork light barrier OPU203 is connected by means of a 3-pole M8 connection. The light barrier is used for part detection in supply guides, contour verification of components, double feed control, edge detection.
