The O2I503 from Quarktwin Technology Ltd. is a machine vision bar code reader designed for high-performance applications. It utilizes infrared light for scanning and features a CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. The device supports a maximum reading rate of 1280 Hz, making it suitable for fast-paced environments. This model operates within a voltage range of 18 to 30 V DC and has a current consumption of less than 400 mA at 24 V DC. It is equipped with one digital input and two configurable digital outputs, supporting both PNP and NPN configurations. The O2I503 also includes short-circuit and overload protection. The reader can decode a wide variety of 1D and 2D barcodes, including popular formats such as QR codes, EAN, UPC, and various GS1 DataBar types.
