The IEEE-USA 2014 Annual Report highlights IEEE-USA's strategic plan, mission and goals in 2014, which focuses on four primary areas: Building/Supporting Members??? Careers; Shaping Public Policy; Promoting Science, Engineering and Technical Literacy; and Revitalizing IEEE???s U.S. Membership. IEEE-USA President Gary L. Blank made reversing IEEE???s negative U.S. membership trends the primary strategic focus for 2014. IEEE-USA???s strategic themes for 2014 included increasing member engagement (i.e., member involvement, utilization and/or awareness of IEEE-USA, and its products and services) and diversifying IEEE-USA???s revenue sources, to reduce our budgetary reliance on the U.S. member assessment.
