The RY42S-U is a 4PDT miniature relay with bifurcated contacts for reliable low-current switching. It supports plug-in or solder terminals and mounts on DIN rail, panel, surface, or PCB sockets. Coil voltage is 110-120V AC with a power consumption of 1.4VA at 50Hz and 1.2VA at 60Hz. Contact ratings are 5A resistive and 5A inductive at 240V AC, and 5A resistive at 30V DC under UL/CSA standards. Operating and release times are 20ms maximum. Dielectric strength is 2,000V AC between coil and contacts, and 1,000V AC between contacts of the same pole. Insulation resistance is 100MΩ minimum. Dimensions are 35.6mm long, 51.7mm high including socket, and weight is 34g. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +70°C.
