The Spare Tips for Tweezers, Carbofib, part number 26W8085, are designed for use with Ideal-Tek tweezers. These replaceable tips feature a flat round and curved design, measuring 130 mm in overall length. Constructed from PA66/CF30 polyamide reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, the tips exhibit high rigidity, excellent tensile and flexural strength, and good chemical resistance to oils, greases, and non-polar solvents, although they are not resistant to strong acids or hot water. The tips are ESD safe, minimizing the risk of static discharge, and are suitable for handling sensitive electronic components and micro-mechanical parts. They have a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and can withstand continuous use temperatures up to 130¬8C. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 210 MPa at 23¬8C and a flexural modulus of 17,000 MPa at the same temperature.
