The 2×4 Blindmate Receptacle Shell (BMHSG-R) is a housing designed for panel-to-panel or rack-mount applications requiring up to 0.45 in. (11.43 mm) of misalignment compensation in either axis. It accommodates up to eight Powerpole® 10 to 45 contacts and is intended for use with wire or PCB contacts on the receptacle side. The shell includes integrated hardware for secure mounting and aligns with the PP15/45 series form factor. The receptacle shell does not mate with standard or finger-proof Powerpole® housings unless via the blindmate plug shell. It is sold with a hardware bag containing retaining pins.
