The 320-1170 is a power socket contact designed for 70 mm² (2/0 to 3/0 AWG) wire, used in the IBC 320 industrial battery connector series. It is rated for up to 220 A per CSA and 350 A per UL specifications, with a voltage rating of 600 V AC/DC. The contact is made of silver-plated copper and is compatible with the modular IBC 320 housing system, supporting tool-less replacement. It operates in temperatures from -20°C to 105°C and meets UL 1977, CSA 22.2 No. 182.3-16, and EN1175:2025 standards. The contact is designed for use in plug or receptacle configurations with an average insertion force of 18 lbs and retention force of 27 lbs when paired with the standard housing.
