The SBE® 160 green housing is a middle-sized, touch-safe connector housing molded from a chemical-resistant PBT/PC blend resin, designed for industrial applications up to 160 A per power circuit. It complies with EN1175:2020 and features a color-coded mechanical voltage key for circuit identification. The housing supports up to eight auxiliary power or signal contacts and is rated for an operating temperature range of -20°C to 105°C. It has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and is intended for use with silver-plated primary power contacts rated for 10,000 mating cycles. Dimensions are 2.80 in. (71.2 mm) in length and 1.94 in. (49.2 mm) in width. Green SBE® 160 housings are not intermateable with SBX® 175 housings of the same color. The housing is dimensionally compatible with other SBE® 160 variants except yellow, which is excluded by design.
