The SBE® 160 gray housing is a mid-size, IEC 60950 touch-safe connector housing molded from a chemical-resistant PBT/PC blend resin, rated for up to 160 A per UL and EN1175:2020 standards. It supports up to eight auxiliary power or signal contacts and is color-coded for voltage identification. Mating with SBX® 175 housings of the same color code is possible but not recommended as it invalidates UL approvals. Dimensions are 11.1 mm wide, 9.5 mm high, and 5.75 in (146.0 mm) mated length. The housing meets UL94 V-0 flammability rating and operates from -20°C to 105°C.
