SBX® 175 housing, red, molded from polycarbonate, is a mid-size X-style connector housing rated for up to 280 amps per primary power contact, with mating capability to SBE® 160 housings of matching color code except yellow. It supports up to eight auxiliary power or signal contacts, operates from -20°C to 105°C, and meets IP20 ingress protection per IEC 60529. It does not comply with EN1175:2020 for industrial trucks. The housing dimensions are 11.1 mm wide, 9.5 mm deep, and 5.75 inches long when mated. Contact retention is achieved via stainless steel springs, and the housing complies with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
