The SBX® 175 housing is a middle-sized, X, O style connector housing molded from polycarbonate, rated IP20 per IEC 60529, and designed for use with up to 280 amperes per primary power contact. It features color-coded mechanical voltage keys for circuit identification and includes provisions for up to eight auxiliary power or signal contacts. The blue housing part number 2-7251G2 supports power contacts sized for 1/0 AWG to 2 AWG wire and operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 105°C. The housing does not meet EN1175:2020 requirements for industrial trucks. Mating with SBE® 160 housings of the same color code is possible but not recommended as it invalidates UL approvals.
