IAV Automotive Engineering Inc. is a leading provider of engineering services to the automotive industry for powertrain and electronics.
Founded in 1998 as the North American subsidiary of IAV GmbH, IAV Inc. develops breakthrough concepts and technologies-from powertrain design and development to controls and electronics-for future vehicle generations.
Clients include leading automotive manufacturers and component suppliers who rely on the knowledge of IAV’s engineers to help them design and develop some of the industry’s most advanced engines and powertrains.
From 1998 to 2003, IAV Inc. focused on controls and calibration projects. In 2004, a design group was created to broaden the expertise and capabilities provided to customers.
The year 2009 brought with it the opening of a new 40,000 square foot powertrain test facilities in Northville, MI. This facility has enabled IAV to become a full service engineering provider to customers in North America.
