Houghto-Quench® G and Houghto-Quench 3430 are medium-speed cold quenching oils suitable for use at temperatures up to 180 ºF (82 ºC). Both quenchants give greater depth of hardening than straight mineral oils to help meet stringent automotive and aerospace requirements.
Houghto-Quench® G is a premium cold quenching oil based upon specialty solvent-refined base oil to minimize oxidation and ensure consistent performance under the most arduous operating conditions. A carefully formulated additive package reduces the duration of the vapor blanket cooling stage.
