Loctite EA E-00CL Clear Epoxy Adhesive is a fast-setting, two-component epoxy adhesive designed for industrial applications. It comes in a 50 ml dual cartridge format and cures at room temperature to form a clear, rigid bondline. The adhesive has a working life of approximately 3.5 minutes and a tack-free time of 4 minutes. Once cured, it exhibits a tensile strength of 3,830 psi and a shear strength of 2,160 psi on grit-blasted steel, making it suitable for bonding various substrates including metals, plastics, glass, rubber, and wood. The cured epoxy is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and solvents, and it serves as an excellent electrical insulator. It is particularly effective in applications requiring a clear bondline and is ideal for general-purpose bonding, potting, or encapsulating. The product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen or with strong oxidizing materials. Proper surface preparation and application techniques are essential for achieving maximum bond strength.
