Hartzell Air Movement Fiberglass Backward Curved Centrifugal Fan Series 41

Description
The Series 41 Fiberglass Backward Curved Centrifugal Fan offers non-overloading horsepower characteristics, high efficiency, low noise and economy for corrosive atmospheres. The Series 41P Fan has the same airstream components as the Series 41 fan, in a compact packaged Class II design. The Series 41U Fan is a utility set version of the Series 41, with the motor mounted inside the drive base. It is available in SWSI (single width single inlet) only. Series 41P fan housings are constructed of vinyl ester resin and glass fiber with flame-retardant additives, and all fiberglass surfaces are protected with chemical-, flame- and ultraviolet-resistan t resin. Standard fiberglass components are made of solid fiberglass consisting of corrosion-resistant vinylester resin and glass fibers. Hartzell uses Derakane 510B for fan housings and Derakane 510A for the wheels. All nuts, bolts, and fasteners in contact with the airstream are stainless steel and encapsulated with a minimum of 10-mil of resin and glass fibers. Resin has a Class I flame spread rate of 25 or less. External fiberglass housing surfaces are protected with a minimum 10-mil UV resistant resin coating. See corrosion resistance guide in Hartzell’s Fan Engineering Data guide for resin characteristics. Other resins are available. One-piece solid fiberglass airfoil construction and produced using resin transfer mold process. Electronically balanced on unit at operating speed. Type FA fiberglass airfoil wheel with inlet cone and aerodynamically designed housing produces high efficiencies with non-overloading horsepower and low noise. Series 41: Produces from 800 CFM to 105,000 CFM at pressures from free delivery to 30” W.G. Available in 14 sizes from 12” to 60” wheels. Arrangements 1, 4, 8, 9, 9M, and 10. Fully rotatable housings up to size 36” standard. Packaged Series: Produces from 800 CFM to 32,000 CFM at pressures from free delivery to 12” W.G. at high efficiencies with non-overloading horsepower, and low noise. Available in 9 sizes from 12” to 36” wheels and a fully rotatable housing as standard. Utility Series: Produces from 800 CFM to 10,500 CFM at pressures from free delivery to 6” W.G. at high efficiencies with nonoverloading horsepower, and low noise. Available in 3 sizes: 12”, 18”, and 24”. Additional features: FRP airstream construction Exclusive one-piece, high-efficiency solid fiberglass wheel Dynamically balanced at the factory prior to shipping Supplied packaged, assembled, and ready to install Special coatings, constructions, motors, and accessories also available
