Hartford Technologies, Inc. Custom Bearing Assemblies Thrust Bearings

Description
Hartford Technologies’ Thrust Bearings are used where axial loads are exerted from either direction. Key thrust bearing components include retainer or cage and rolling elements (balls or rollers). In many thrust bearings, two hardened steel washers function as raceways and are also part of the bearing. Sometimes this collection of parts is pre-assembled and in other applications these components come together only as the thrust bearing is integrated into the larger assembly. Standard ball or roller material is bearing grade chrome steel. Hartford Technologies thrust bearings utilize rollers that will offer a higher load carrying capability than a thrust bearing with balls. With rollers, there is a theoretical line of contact vs. point contact with balls. Thrust Bearing applications include: Boring mill table Automotive A/C compressor Agricultural equipment Clutch release mechanism Automotive, aircraft, marine Hartford Technologies bearing design engineers are among the most knowledgeable in the industry, and our ability to manufacture on both sides of the globe gives Hartford customers a substantial advantage in cost and flexibility. Our prototype lab and manufacturing facilities are both geared to fast turn-around, and can accommodate major programs with stringent delivery requirements. Hartford Technologies is an ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and a WBENC (woman-owned) certified.
