Hinge to be installed flush with the surface of a hatch.
Hinge installs in a mortise (cutout) so that it will be completely flush with the surface.
Hinge measures 1-1/2" in width (measurement along the hinge pin).
Hinge measure 1-7/8" in length.
Uses #8 flat head wood screw (not included but offered for purchase during checkout).
PLEASE NOTE: this hinge is made from stainless steel and powder coated black. We have not been able to find any manufacturer that makes a stainless steel screw with a black coating. We are offering two different screws during checkout. One screw is a stainless steel flat head screw (not coated black). You could paint the head of the stainless steel screw black after installation to match the black powder coat of the hinge.
The other option we are offering is a steel #8 flat head screw which comes with a black coated head. This would be a good choice for when this hinge is not used in an area subject to corrosion.
