European Conversion Hinge, Converts 3/8" Inset Doors
This hinge and mounting plate allows you to convert a 3/8" partial inset door to a door with no visible hinges (hinges are not visible from the outside of the cabinet when the door is closed.
This conversion requires woodworking skills to accomplish.
Hinge installs in a 35mm (1-3/8" cup) drilled in the back of the door. Typically 2 hinges and 2 mounting plates per door.
Mounting plate is installed on the cabinet by using a wooden Face Frame block (fabricated by the person doing the installation). The Face Frame Block should be made of hard or medium hardwood. It should be installed so that it is flush with the edge of the face frame and a minimum of 2-3/8" long by 2" wide to accomodate the mounting plate.
Hinge opens to 110 degrees. Hinge cup depth is 9mm.
Hinge is made from steel and is nickel plated.
Uses #6 wood screws (not included but offered for purchase during checkout). Order 2 screws for each mounting plate ordered and order 2 screws for each hinge ordered.
