The hinge pin is fixed in one of the barrels. In the photo to the left the barrel with the fixed hinge pin is the barrel on top.
The "Hinge Gap" is the distance between the post and the gate after the hinge is installed.
Each hinge has 2 weldable plates. Each plate measures as follows; SKU 782500 measures 7/8" x 2" x 5/16" and SKU 782510 measures 1-3/4" x 3" x 3/16".
