Thumb latch works for both swing-in and swing-out gates
For gate thicknesses of 1-1/2" to 3"
For right or left hand installations
Steel base material
Triple protected finish (zinc plate, black chromate dip and black painted)
Handle with thumb latch measures 10-1/2" tall
Latch and strike measure about 7-1/2" wide
Mounting screws are included
This is the only thumb type latch that we know of that will work for out-swinging gates. If you would like a nicer thumb latch it is possible to combine the inside latching mechanism of this latch with the outside handle of our SKU 778013.
