To secure gate, grab the handle, pull it up and throw it over the opposite gate top rail.
Holds double gates securely in the closed position.
Overall dimensions are 18" long, by 3-5/8" wide by 3" tall (not including handle).
Handle measures 4-3/4" wide by 2-3/8" tall.
Inside width measures 3-1/4". This will fit gates made with doubled up 2 x 4's (3-3/16" thick).
