The VCS06-005-BS-01-M voice coil positioning stage uses H2W voice coil motor NCC06-08-005-2X to generate a continuous/peak force of 0.85 lbs [3.8 N]/2.6 lbs [11.4 N] with a total stroke length of 0.60 in [15.2mm]. The 1.0-micron resolution encoder allows for precise positioning. It comes supplied with a ball slide which allows for smooth motion. The magnet housing is the moving part of the assembly so that there are no moving (flexing) cables in the system.
