H2W Technologies Voice Coil Positioning Stage VCS03-050-LB-01-MCX

The VCS03-050-LB-01-MCX voice coil positioning stage uses H2W voice coil motor NCC03-15-050-2X to generate a continuous/peak force of 5.0 lbs [22.3 N]/15.0 lbs [66.8 N] with a total stroke length of 0.25 in [6.4mm]. The 1.0-micron resolution encoder allows for precise positioning. The motor coil is the moving part of the assembly in order to reduce the moving mass of the system. Power is supplied to the motor via a high flex, high reliability flat ribbon cable. It comes supplied with a rigid recirculating ball linear bearing.
