This moving coil actuator (P/N) comes supplied with a slotted aluminum bobbin in order to prevent eddy currents from being generated in the bobbin, and allow for a minimal resistance to the desired motion. This actuator also comes supplied with a thru hole, should your application require a hollow actuator.
