Schmidt Hi-loy brand steel stamps are produced from selected tool steel using our proprietary (in-house) heat treating method for safety and durability. Our rigid heat treat specifications ensure that the heads will not split or spall, the shanks will not bend and the characters will remain sharp and clean. It is not uncommon to find Schmidt steel hand stamps in service for more than 20 years.These steel stamps produce a crisp, clear impression in materials up to 35Rc hardness.Letters and figures (numbers) are available from stock in sizes ranging from 1/16" through 1/2" in sharp face.
