Transformers, Step-Down are for changing 220-230V, 50/60Hz current to 110-115V. Housed in black metal case with 3-wire cord and receptacle. Transformers change voltage only. Use of transformers with motor-operated equipment should be limited to fractional HP sizes in applications where speed is not important to performance. The V-A rating should be at least double the equipment Watts rating.
