Gilson Company, Inc. Biodegradable Extraction Solvent Power-Solv. 55-Gal HM-125P

Description
Gilson offers four types of asphalt extraction solvents that are excellent replacements for trichloroethylene and other chemical solvents. Some state DOT’s recognize these as equivalent replacements. MSDS are available for all solvents. Solvents are available in 5gal (18.9L) Pails with Est. Ship Wt. of 40lb (18kg), or 55gal (208L) Drums with Est. Ship Wt. of 440lb (200kg). Excel Clean HD and Hisol Plus both contain 100% natural orange and citrus terpenes. They are nontoxic, biodegradable, ozone-friendly, and rinse freely with no clumping. They cannot be used for reflux or other heated extraction methods, but are ideal for use in vacuum extractors or centrifuges for gradations only. Flash point is 125°F for Excel Clean HD and 145°F for Hisol Plus. Power-Solv contains citrus terpenes and petroleum solvent, is non-rinsable, and can be used in vacuum extractors or centrifuges for gradations only. Flash point is 115°F. N-Propyl Bromide is the latest alternative to trichloethylene for asphalt extraction applications. N-Propyl Bromide has no flash point and is ideal for ASTM D 2172, Quantitative Extraction of Bitumen from Bituminous Paving Mixtures, ASTM D 5404, Rotovapor Method of Recovery, and AASHTO TP2, Quantitative Extraction and Recovery of Asphalt Binder from Hot-Mix Asphalt. For a free 16oz (0.5L) sample of N-Propyl Bromide solvent, please inquire.
