Diamond Coring Bits are available in either “Open-Head” style, which requires use of listed Expander Sets to attach core barrels to the drill head, or “Closed-Head” style, which attach directly to the drill head. Open-head bits are slightly less expensive and expander sets may be reused many times as the barrels wear out. Closed-head style quickly attaches to machine and have no extra parts to lose. Choose from two types of bits; Concrete bits are used for heavily reinforced or prestressed concrete or other hard materials, Asphalt bits are designed for paving contractors, State DOT's and Local agencies to core asphalt pavements. All bits are fast-cutting when used according to design applications. Standard length is 14in (356mm) for cutting cores or holes up to 12in deep. All bits listed may be re-segmented when worn.
