LAST-A-FOAM® FR-6715 is a rigid, closed-cell, flame-retardant polyurethane foam with a density of 15 lb/ft³ (240 kg/m³), compressive strength of 850 psi (5,850 kPa), tensile strength of 520 psi (3,600 kPa), shear strength of 470 psi (3,250 kPa), and flexural strength of 5,500 kPa. It has a maximum use temperature of 260°F (127°C) and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 35 × 10⁻⁶ in/in-°F. The material is easily shaped with common woodworking tools and is designed for aerospace applications requiring flame retardancy and high strength-to-weight ratio.
The LAST-A-FOAM® FR-6700 is a polyurethane that meets requirements of Boeing BMS 8-133, McDonnell-Douglas DMS-1937, and Federal Aviation Regulation FAR 25.853 (a) and (b). It is specifically designed to meet the physical properties , flammability performance requirements, and processing guidelines for the aircraft manufacturing industry.
