This rack door tag is designed for use on IT rack cabinet doors. Once installed on the door frame, the tag will monitor and report the door status, enabling users to track enclosure access attempts using the active RFID asset inventorying infrastructure. Every tag broadcasts its unique ID and the door status message every 10 seconds. This tag consists of the active RFID tag itself and a corresponding magnet assembly. It features an industrial-strength adhesive backing for quick and easy installation. This tag's form factor ensures clear signal transmission in high-density rack and data center deployments. The rack door tag is impact resistant, splash resistant and temperature stable. It operates with a very low duty cycle ensuring a long battery life (typically >7 years with a 10-second beacon rate).
