Frequently used in the meat packing industry to seal sausage casings, to join mesh or wire cage, fasten wire or cable to chain link fence, or in the manufacture and repair of upholstered goods, hog rings are u-shaped rings bent during installation to secure two objects together. Easy to install, they feature a firm grip that is unlikely to work itself loose and are generally more secure than nails or staples.
