FLSmidth Vacuum Compressor

Description
Developed from Fuller® design and technology, FLSmidth’s Ful-Vane™ Compressors provide more compression with less energy. Available in flow ranges from 50 SCFM to 3000 SCFM and in single- or two-stages with suction pressure ranges down to -29.8′ Hg, Ful-Vane compressors are well suited for a wide variety of deep vacuum applications. : Vacuum filtering Flash cooling Flash drying General vacuum Vacuum holding Vacuum de-gassing Pick and Place Our unique design features include: Large inlet area provides efficient capture of large gas flows Only three moving parts for minimal mechanical losses Constant blade-to-cylinder contact maintains compression efficiency Shaft and bearing design minimizes drive losses Suited for operation with variable frequency drive The Ful-Vane vacuum compressor is available in a full range of single-stage and two-stage sizes which efficiency capture a wide range of gases. FLSmidth can offer varying scope, from a bare-shaft compressor to a vacuum pump skid – custom built to project specifications or FLSmidth standards. With only two bearings and three moving parts, the Ful-Vane compressor boasts a simple design that is easily field repairable. Internally, carbon fiber vanes ride on a thin layer of lubricant to provide positive sealing or each compression chamber. As a result of minimal internal and mechanical losses, Ful-Vane compressors have higher operating efficiencies. Since the vanes compensate for wear, the compressor maintains its design efficiency over time. Ful-Vane compressors also feature rebuildable housings and rotors. Rather than being replaced, the inner cylinder can be re-bored numerous times, and the rotor can be reslotted up to three times. This means the compressor can be easily rebuilt to factory specs several times over its lifespan. This greatly reduces the long-term cost of ownership. Equipment is designed and manufactured in the United States with parts and service provided through a network of service centers. FLSmidth Pneumatic Transport is responsible for the Ful-Vane compressor, and is part of the global FLSmidth organization, a worldwide engineering and manufacturing organization.
