The NCT7491RQR2G is a remote thermal monitor and fan controller designed for efficient thermal management in electronic systems. It features a PECI 3.0 interface for monitoring CPU temperatures and is capable of monitoring two remote temperature zones along with its own ambient temperature. The device includes an SMBus compatible master, allowing it to read from thermal sensors on the SMBus and control up to three fans using PWM control, while also monitoring the speed of four fans. This component provides four analog inputs for voltage monitoring across various channels, including 12 V, 5 V, and 2.5 V. It also monitors the supply voltage and PECI VTT voltage. The NCT7491RQR2G generates interrupts via an ALERT output pin if any monitored channel exceeds programmable limits, and it includes a THERM output for fail-safe thermal control. The device operates within a supply voltage range of 3.0 V to 3.6 V and is available in a 24-lead QSOP package. It is compliant with RoHS standards and is Pb-free, halogen-free, and BFR-free.
