FLEXBAR DIGITAL FORCE GAGES The Series EG digital force gage is a compact instrument utilizing the latest advances in electronics, software and sensor technology. The Series EG incorporates many features previously not available in an economically priced unit gage. Microprocessor based, this small, rugged instrument is an excellent choice for quality control, materials testing and many other applications involving force measurement. FEATURES Rugged cast aluminum housing is reversible for handheld use or test stand mounting. Small size: 6" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Peak memory for tensile and compressive loads. User programmable initial status of units and mode of operation. Auto-shutoff after a user programmable period of inactivity. Memory retention of setups after gage shutoff. Push button selectable units of measure for LB, KG and N (Newtons). Battery status indicator. Push button calibration. Available communication option: Fully configurable RS232 channel, Mitutoyo BCD output for Connection to all Mitutoyo SPC devices and Analog output ±1 VDC for chart recorders, etc. SPECIFICATIONS: Accuracy - ±0.30% of full scale, ±1LSC (least significant count). Calibrated with weights traceable to NIST. Sampling Rate - 30 samples per second. Display - 4 1/2 character LCD with 0.3" high characters. Low battery, mode and units display. • Tare Capacity - 10%, all units. • Load Cell Deflection - 0.010" maximum. Power - Rechargeable NiCd 7.2V battery. AC operation possible using the included AC adapter/charger. Battery Life - 10-12 hours of continuous operation. IPM, a 3-step Intelligent Power Management system will warn the user via "LO BAT" indicator and then will shut off the gage.
