Fitzgerald Industries International, Inc. KARS protein (His tag) 80R-1927

Description
Purified recombinant KARS protein Background: KARS, also known as Lysyl-tRNA synthetase, belongs to the class-II aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family. It exists as both mitochondrial and cytoplasmic isoforms produced by alternative splicing, and thought to play a role in autoimmune diseases, such as polymyositis or dermatomyositis. This protein functions to catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNAs by their corresponding amino acids, thus linking amino acids with tRNA-contained nucleotide triplets. Recombinant human KARS protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
