Fitzgerald Industries International, Inc. CINC2 alpha antibody 70R-7708

Description
Rabbit polyclonal Rat CINC2 alpha antibody Background: GRO (Growth Related Oncogene) belonging to the IL8 family is a polypeptide which has three isoforms alpha, beta and gamma, and it inhibits proliferation of endothelial cells. GRO/CINC1 (cytokineinduced neutrophil chemo attractant 1) was originally purified from media conditioned by IL1 beta stimulated rat kidney epithelioid cells (NRK52E). The Amino acid sequence that encodes rat CINC1 was identified in 1989 by Watanabe?s group at Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University. CINC1 is a member of the alpha (CXC) subfamily of chemokines. Three additional rat CXC chemokines (CINC2alpha, CINC2beta, CINC3/MIP2) have been identified. The protein sequence of CINC1 is 63 ? 67 % identical to that of CINC2alpha, CINC2beta and CINC3/MIP2. In addition, each of GROalpha, GRObeta and GROgamma share 68 %, 71 % and 69 % identity respectively with CINC1. It has been suggested that CINCs are the rat counterparts of human GROs.
